THESE DAYS - UNROLLINGS 2020 - 2025

These Days is a daily drawn meditation on a humble sheet of toilet paper begun on January 21st 2020 and ongoing. In its first phase (2020 - 2026) These Days drawings were made using the visual language of Admitting the Possibilities of Error, responding to the dominant news event of that day — pandemic numbers, war, climate crisis. The use of toilet paper came from the absurd early panic of COVID, but remains for its fragile vulnerability and scroll-like potential for both compact storage and monumental display.

At least once a year I performed an unrolling of all the rolls.
