These Days is a daily drawing practice begun on 21 January 2020. In its first phase a daily drawing was made on a sheet of toilet paper using the circle-starting method of Admitting the Possibilities of Error, responding to overwhelming world events — pandemic, climate change, political upheaval and war. In 2026 the project moved into a second phase with a focus instead on small lived moments — explored through daily textual inscriptions held in a circle.
The use of toilet paper came from the absurd early panic of COVID, but remains for its fragile vulnerability and scroll-like potential for compact storage and monumental display.
