Horace’s Tree
Performed drawing for Chelsea Fringe 2015 in response to the Persian Ironwood tree planted by Horace Darwin (Charles Darwin Darwin's son and a pioneer Cambridge Tech entrepreneur) in what is now the Murray Edward's College Fellows' Garden. The tree's coloration especially in autumn inspired the choice of colours used in the drawing of 77 "circles" for each year of Horace's life. The text around the drawing records each year in the colour it was drawn with events in Horace’s life where known.
